The Museum is now the sole aviation Museum left in Cumbria.
With all the aviation exhibits and artifacts, especially from the Second World War and also individual displays featuring the development of Blue Streak, Martin Baker ejection seats and the development and activities of the Airport itself since the Second World War, it’s no surprise that the Museum is extremely haunted! 
Shadow figures and footsteps have been reported. People have reported being touched/pushed and invisible hands have opened and closed doors on their own.
 
Unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues.
